Will also directs a number of nursery businesses producing approx. 1.75 million fruit trees per year.
Pete Thompson, Founder & Director
Pete has been in both retail and wholesale sectors of the fresh produce industry for over 12 years. Has further experience in developing and bringing to market niche products and services.
Experienced in ground source heat pumps and reed bed technology and installation. Extensive knowledge in related grant funding and project management for accessing EU funding.
Peter is also Commercial Director of a specialist farming business supplying niche products to the oriental wholesale and food service sector.
James Anwyl, Managing Director, Eurobuild
James has 15 years experience in architecture, sustainable construction and project management. With his unique blend of hands-on experience and creativity, he designs and delivers carefully engineered solutions that reduce our clients’ energy usage and GHG emissions.
He has recently completed the design of one of the most innovative zero carbon homes in the UK and has been awarded the Happold Scholarship for Sustainability and Construction, supported by Buro Happold, The Company of Constructors and the Chartered Institute of Building.
James has trained as a BREAM assessor of Industrial and Domestic (CfSH) buildings, has designed and built in-house SAP software and is qualified to install solar thermal and grid connected solar PV.
He is part-way through a Masters in Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development and holds a Bachelors in Industrial Design.
Amjad Karim, Managing Director, 383ppm
Amjad is an experienced management consultant with business process and carbon emissions modeling expertise. He helps clients gain a clear understanding of their energy usage and carbon emissions before developing abatement options based upon changes to business processes, new technology or sustainable local power generation.
Originally trained with PA Consulting, he has managed several high profile projects for a variety of clients including Transport for London, Royal Bank of Scotland, Homeserve and Barclays.
Amjad holds a Masters in Modeling Biological Complexity from UCL and a Bachelors in Mathematics from Imperial College London.
Kevin Tullett, Managing Director, Lowhub
Kev left European derivatives at Deutsche Bank AG to join Chi. He brings considerable business intelligence and financial awareness, after nearly 9 years in banking and an Msc in Finance form City University Business School.
Kev was instrumental in starting Lowhub in November 2007 and has a hand continually in all Chi business.
Lowhub is a Chi business: a low carbon delivery service. We have a small fleet of vans (electric or biodiesel) focused on consolidating deliveries out of the London wholesale markets.
