
It’s officially spring, the sun starts to come out more often! This season change makes us eat differently, we would rather eat salads and quiches than a hot soup or a heavy meal. Wraps are the most convenient lunch on the go for your busy days. Instead of buying pre made wraps at the supermarket full of preservatives and nasties. It’s so easy to make you own wrap! Salmon Wrap
Ingredients
3 slices smoked salmon
Handful of baby spinach
1 large wrap, multigrain
3 Long cucumber slices
1 tsp mustard
slat, pepper chive
Method
Spread mustard on the wrap plus add the salmon, cucumber and finish with spinach and seasoning. Roll up.
Hummus & Carrot
Ingredients
2 large Tbsp hummus
1 seeded wrap
1 carrot
small handful rocket
Method
Spread the hummus. Grate carrots and scatter on top of the houmous, finishing with a small handful rocket leaves and some seasoning. Roll up and eat.
Green Wrap
Ingredients
1 large spinach & Herb wrap
2 Ham slices
Handful spinach
half green apple
handful crumbled blue cheese
1 tsp reduced fat mayonnaise
1 pinch pepper
Method
Spread mayonnaise on the wrap then add ham with few apple slices and the rest of the ingredients. Roll up and eat.
Avocado & Chicken salad roll
Ingredients
Half avocado (sliced)
Chicken slices (already cooked)
Handful lettuce
handful pine nuts
1 Tsp cottage cheese
1 Brown wrap
Method
Spread cottage cheese on the wrap add chicken and avocado. Then the lettuce and pine nuts. Roll up.
